The past few days have been a little crazy (as is the trend whenever papers are due), but it's good to be back in Rome! After a day of navigating Turkish airports and Italian trains (no one was detained in Turkey—hurray!), we finally made it back on Tuesday and settled into the apartments (aka our homes away from home). Bags were unpacked, laundry was done, and the chaos known as paper writing commenced. Bridget-Kate even managed to sneak in some time to go and meet the Pope on Wednesday. With the papers submitted on Halloween (Trick or Treat! Or rather paper-is-finished-so-now-we-all-can-sleep time), the students spent Friday preparing for their final round of oral reports. With Rome's greatest hits in store for this week, we are ready to get back to work (well, even if we weren't, the FSP must still go on)!
